| | How Do Sweden's Political Parties Plan To Work With The Ukraine Issue After The 2026 Election? |
| On May 19, representatives from all Swedish parliamentary parties gathered at the Stockholm School of Economics for a panel discussion hosted by SITE together with the Nordic Ukraine Forum.
The discussion focused on how Sweden's support for Ukraine should develop during the next parliamentary term, and what role Sweden should play in Europe's continued support for Ukraine.
More than four years after Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine continues its fight for freedom, independence, and democracy - a fight that is not only decisive for Ukraine's future, but also for European security and our shared democratic values.
It was encouraging to see strong political engagement and broad agreement on the importance of long-term, sustained, and clear Swedish support for Ukraine. At the same time, the discussion showed that the question of how this support should be shaped going forward remains both urgent and highly relevant.

| | Information Warfare And Business Risk: Why Cyber Threats Are Now Leadership Challenges |
| On May 25, SITE and the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication (CSSC) invited Mary Prokhorova, CEO of InDevLab and co-founder of the Nordic-Ukrainian Working Group on cybersecurity, for a lecture to discuss information warfare and business risk at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Her lecture made a case that reaches well beyond IT departments: the line between information warfare and market risk has effectively collapsed, and the response has to be as integrated as the threat. Drawing on a decade of Ukrainian experience, from NotPetya onward, Mary showed how a single technical entry point cascades into operational, financial and regulatory damage, and why technical defence and crisis communication can no longer sit in separate rooms.

| | Spagnolo Workshop Highlights Research And Policy Impact |
| SITE hosted the SPAGNOLO Workshop: Strategic Procurement, Agreements, Games, and Norms in Organizations: Lessons and Oddities on May 25, 2026.
The workshop honored Giancarlo Spagnolo and his influential contributions to economics and public policy. Bringing together leading scholars in procurement, competition policy, game theory, behavioral economics, and institutional economics, the event combined research presentations from old colleagues and friends with a tribute to a career marked by academic excellence and policy relevance.

| | A new policy brief by Olle Folke shows that giving workers accurate information about what their peers believe can reduce tolerance for sexual harassment in work groups. The brief, based on research published in the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, finds that a low-cost information intervention in the Norwegian military changed attitudes in lasting ways. |
