All over the world, students from top business schools need help with the transition to professional life. That's where you come in; as an alum your experience can provide support, guidance and role modeling for the next generation of decision makers. Our nine-month mentorship program is a rewarding journey that runs from October - June.

Continuing the tradition that started over 80 years ago, we are organizing another alumni golf day - Ekonomgolfen - at Vallentuna golf club on September 12. Keep your eyes peeled for the invitation arriving in your inbox in the next couple of weeks!

SSE Master's program in Finance ranks 18 in the world
"One reason for SSE's continued strong performance in this important global ranking is the strength of SSE's alumni network, which assists students in finding internships during their studies and employment at the end of their studies," says Anders Anderson, Program Director of the Master's in Finance Program. "Alumni are active as mentors, guest lecturers, and remain involved with SSE during their careers. SSE is a relatively small business school so the alumni involvement is important to our success."

SSE President Lars Strannegård raises discussion about national grading system
Lars Strannegård's op ed on grade inflation in Sweden has sparked a discussion about the national grading system. Politicians, pundits and teachers have all expressed support for a revision to make grades as well as admissions more fair and equitable.

The Stockholm School of Economics is launching a new Faculty Fund with the aim of attracting and retaining research and teaching talent in Sweden. Alumni Ulrika and Staffan Bohman are the first to support the cause with a donation of 10 million SEK.

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine on the next steps in EU integration 
On May 26, the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS) had the honor of hosting a distinguished keynote speaker, Olga Stefanishyna (Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine) who shared her insights on Ukraine's progress with reforms on the way to full EU integration.
